The “economic governance” sectoral framework is holding its first review for the year 2024 on February 27. The meeting aims to examine and adopt the report on the implementation of actions for the year 2023 as well as the Action Plan for the stabilization and development of the “Economic Governance” sector for the period 2024-2026. It will also be an opportunity to make recommendations for improving performance for the year 2024.

The sectoral framework for dialogue constitutes a privileged framework for exchanges for actors in the economic field, because it allows them to assess the actions carried out during the previous year and the results achieved, to identify the difficulties encountered and to consider perspectives. Regarding the year 2023, the Minister of Economy, Finance and Foresight, Aboubakar Nacanabo, suggested that important achievements have been made.

Indeed, as part of the mobilization of budgetary resources, 2,552.86 billion CFA francs were mobilized out of a forecast of 2,572.79 billion FCFA, i.e. an execution rate of 99.23%. This level of mobilization is up by 152.32 billion FCFA compared to the same period in 2022, i.e. an increase rate of 6.35%.

Also, with regard to the computerization of the national land cadastre, 848,903 cadastral references were digitized, 277,875 plot owners were identified and entered into e-cadastre and 17,327 plots were evaluated.
